Riding down the highway, the wind rushing by, the feeling of your bike between your legs, the sound of the purring engine it's enough to make anyone happy. It's no wonder why motorcycle riders are so happy. Some people get that same thrill and feelings of happiness driving their cars, but there's something about being outside in the elements that makes motorcycle riding extra thrilling and free. Even though people may think motorcycle riders are surly guys who would beat up anyone who looks at them oddly, they're really happy people who love riding. That's why you'll see a lot of them wearing an embroidered Yellow Smiley Face Patch on their jackets.
Of course, bikers are not happy all the time. They may not be smiling if their motorcycles are broken down or if the weather is so bad that they can't really go riding. But the good news is that when they are down, they can always turn to their fellow bikers for help and for a good pick me up. Other bikers can understand and commiserate with each other if their motorcycles are damaged or if it's not a good day for biking. They've probably been there before plus, if they're there with you, they can take a look at your bike. They might just know what the problem is.
