The Information Age Needs More Patch Categories

If you're like me, you love living in the information age.  You can go online and find out just about anything you need to in the relatively short period time.  It's awesome!  But just like the recent Bing TV commercials suggest, one of the downfalls of the information age is information overload.  Sometimes there are just too many choices.  Just as an example, type the word "patches" into Google, and I promise it will return millions of results.  How could you possibly go through all the choices? You can't.

Thankfully, the creators of thecheapplace.com website understand that the size of their inventory demands some organization. They've developed a new page that allows customers to view patches by category. And they have lots of them including flags, animals, religious, military, and so forth. With the simple click of a category icon you can freely browse to see what's available. As an added bonus, the web site also has a slide show feature which allows you to sit back and relax as pictures of the various patches fade in and out. How cool is that?

Wouldn't it be awesome if more places used a slide show to inform customers? For instance, there's a local drive-in burger joint in my town with a menu board that has to be 12 ft. long.  My guess is that they have at least 100 different items, and that's probably on the low side.  Wouldn't it be awesome to see a slide show of the different foods while you're trying to make up your mind?  They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I'm sure a picture or two would help me decide what to have for lunch.

But getting back to thecheapplace.com, their category page makes browsing for patches pretty simple.  If you click on the sayings category for example, you'll be taken to the first of six pages containing dozens of saying patches for just about any taste.  There's the "I like you, I'll kill you last" patch; another that says "It's not the destination it's the ride", and one of my favorites, "Freedom isn't Free".  They have so many saying patches it'll blow your mind.

Then of course, their are categories for all four military branches as well as veterans of Vietnam and Iraq , and even a category for servicemen.  In case you're wondering, servicemen are police officers, firefighters, and EMTs.  Thecheapplace.com has a good selection of service members patches and even a few for security officers too.

Of all the different categories. The most "fun" in my opinion are the ladies patches.  Maybe it's just my warped sense of humor, but there's something particularly funny about lady biker with an attitude.  I'm not much for lace and frills, and sometimes a lady biker with something to say they can be quite entertaining.

With thecheapplace.com's ever evolving website, there's no reason why you can find exactly what you're looking for. In fact, it's the only place you'll ever need to go for all your patches.
