Looking for a skull patch that isn't just a giant skull? Many of the different Skull Patches you'll find on The Cheap Place are mainly focused on the skull, it's true. But there are a few out there that are not, such as this Reaper Skull Sand Clock Large Patch. By 'sand clock', of course, it means hour glass, and this grim reaper carries one of those in his hand. In some stories, everyone has an hour glass that's counting out the seconds of their life. When the last drop of sand falls through the glass, the grim reaper appears to take them away!
That does mean this large back patch is somewhat creepy and morbid, but it's so detailed and different that it's also pretty awesome looking. The full patch shows the grim reaper in all his undead glory. He carries a scythe in his other hand, the blade of which looks like it's coming out of the mouth of a skull. You can see the different folds of his cloak and the skeletal ribs of his body. He is grinning in a way that says he's glad you're dead and he now gets to collect your soul!
This patch is done in an interesting color, it's more of a light grey than a white, which makes it look different from many other patches. It's also large. The patch measures nine inches wide by twelve inches tall, so this grim reaper is going to take up pretty much the entire back of a jacket or vest. The patch features die cut borders so you can sew it on to your clothing. If you're putting it on any item that is not made from leather or nylon, you can also iron it on.
