This Patch is for Veteran Firefighters

Veteran Firefighter PatchHave you retired from years of service as a firefighter?  If you have, you may have taken your firefighter patches off your jacket since you're no longer an active member.  If you don't feel like you can wear those patches any longer, maybe you'd like to trade them out for a Veteran Firefighter Patch. These patches, found in the Firemen Patches section, feature the traditional firefighter's logo but have 'veteran firefighter' underneath it.  It's a nice looking patch that shows how proud you are of your years of service.

This patch is rectangular, but it does incorporate the Maltese Cross, the symmetrical symbol that is used on the official firefighter's logo.  The center circle of the cross shows the four items firefighters most often use: the hat, axe, hose, and ladder.  These items are all traditionally associated with firefighters.  The left section of the cross contains a fire hydrant, another well-known symbol.  The cross's red background and white borders and items stand out on the black background, and the die cut yellow borders help accentuate the entire patch.  The words 'veteran firefighter' are done in red, too, so that they're easy to see.

This patch measures 2 by 2.5 inches, so it's one of the smaller patches on The Cheap Place.  That means you can put it just about anywhere, even on a hat, canvas belt, or on your canvas wallet if you want.  It can also be used to make a pair of old pants look brand new.  No matter where you put it, it's sure to look great and proclaim you a veteran of the firefighting profession.
