This Police Shield Patch is Awesome

Police shield patchAre you a police officer or retired officer?  If you are, you may want to have a few uniform patches on your jacket so that people will know that you serve and protect.  This cool Police Shield Patch is certainly a good addition to any off-duty uniform.  It will fit on the sleeve of your jacket or on the front of your vest, and it will let everyone know that you're an officer and that you have training in self-defense and weapons.  Sometimes, just knowing that there's a trained officer around is enough to discourage people from doing things they shouldn't.  It might also make thieves think twice if they see you.

You might notice that this police patch has no identifiable marks, it's not connected to any police station or precinct.  That's because civilian patches can't identify any actual police station so no one will mistake a non-officer for a real one.  That doesn't really matter if you just want people to know that you're an officer.  It's also a great patch to add to a costume, as long as you don't use that costume to impersonate an officer.

This police patch is done on blue twill with embroidered silver, black, and white.  That's a little unusual since most patches feature black twill for the background.  This patch is fairly small, measuring only three inches by three inches.  It's not a square, of course, but is shaped like a badge.  The entire patch is covered with a heat-activated plastic on the back so you can iron it on to your clothing.  If you're planning on putting it on leather, however, you'll need to sew it on so you don't damage the material.  Need more than a few of these patches?  They're also available as a wholesale patch.
