Turn Iron-On Patches into Hook And Loop Patches

Hook And Loop peel and stick pieceMany bikers use iron-on patches as a way of decorating their jackets and other biker gear.  But while these patches look great, if they're ironed on, they're permanent.  If you decide you need a new jacket, you have to get a whole new set of patches for it.  You can also not change out a patch you decide you don't like.  But with this neat Hook And Loop peel and stick piece, you can turn any iron on patch into a Hook And Loop patch.  This means you can easily remove it and change it out for any other patch you like.  The only thing you're actually attaching to your jacket is a piece of Hook And Loop.

How does it work?  Each order of this Hook And Loop backing comes with two pieces: a hooks side and a loops side.  You attach the loops side by sewing it onto your jacket or other item.  It does have a sticky adhesive on the back, but you should definitely sew it on to make certain it doesn't come off.  Then you take the hook part and stick it onto the back of your patch.  Note that this will only stick to patches that have the iron-on plastic backing on them - if the patch doesn't, you'll have to sew it onto the patch.

Then all you have to do is stick the patch onto the piece of Hook And Loop on your jacket!  If you decide you want to change it out later, just remove that patch and add another with a Hook And Loop backing.  Now your biker jacket can be customized for every event!
