Veteran Bikers Unite

Veteran patchAfter leaving the armed forces, many veterans find that people who have lived a civilian life can't exactly relate to what they've been through.  This even includes their families.  While they certainly still love them, veterans can't always completely share their experiences with those who have never been in the military.  This is especially true for those who have been in combat.  It's very hard to share exactly what it's like to have enemy soldiers shooting at you or how you feel when you first shoot at someone with the intention of killing them.  Fellow veterans may also be the only ones who understand post-traumatic stress and why exactly certain things trigger it.

This is why many veterans choose to spend their time with other veterans.  They often get together with their fellow veterans for coffee every morning or have a weekly gathering.  Those who love motorcycles might even join a veterans-only motorcycle club.  These clubs let members enjoy their love of motorcycles while being with people who understand their experiences and potential problems that come with seeing combat.

If you're a part of one of these clubs, you might want to add some awesome veteran patches to your jacket.  You might want to get a few patches that show what branch of the armed forces you were in, and you may want one that declares you a veteran.  One popular veteran patch is the large lower back Veteran patch.  It's designed to fit on the bottom of your jacket or vest.
