People always say that you cannot buy happiness. While it's true you can't walk into a store and buy any kind of magical happiness potion, you can certainly buy things that make you happy. This can be just about anything ? some people are happy with big screen TVs or the latest electronic gadget. Others are happy after buying and eating a great dinner. However, when it comes to bikers, only one purchase will make them truly happy: buying a motorcycle.
Why is buying a motorcycle close to buying happiness for bikers? It gives them freedom and joy. For riders, there's nothing like owning a bike and knowing you can go out whenever you like and soar down the streets. It's different from a car because there's nothing between the rider and nature. Of course, buying a motorcycle is a significant investment, but even that can be a form of happiness. Many bikers love tinkering with their bike, and while they may get upset if it breaks down, they also enjoy fixing it.
Biking can even lead to love. There have been many romances that started during a ride or at a motorcycle club meeting. Women do love the bad boy image that a lot of bikers project. Even those who don't wear leather jackets covered in patches gain some bad boy points just for owning a motorcycle. Who knows, what started out as a woman admiring your motorcycle could end up with the two of you riding away with a 'just married' sign on the back of the bike.
