If the president won't protect the constitution he is sworn to do, we will do it for him. Over centuries governments have tried all the tricks in the hat to disarm its citizens. Knowing this our founding fathers have clearly stated that the People's right to bear arms shall not be infringed. 2nd Amendment is not in the constitution so you could go duck hunting. But Joe Biden would have you believe that is the reason for the 2nd amendment. No sir, don't let anyone fool you into thinking that we should not have the right to bear assault rifles because there is no use for it except to cause mass murders. I've wept for what has happened in Aurora, Colorado, or Newtown Connecticut. But I'm no fool to blame the guns for the tragic events that took place. We want to blame something or someone anytime there is a tragedy. But what about all the lives guns have saved? Who talks about them? Would you be free today had we not revolted to the demands of the British Empire to rid our weapons so they can just tax us as they pleased?

The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right to keep and bear arms. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, along with the rest of the Bill of Rights.

The text of the Second Amendment which is found in the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights is the following:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

It means exactly what it says, that the people's individual right to be armed will be respected and that the resulting armed populace will be secure against tyranny, invasion, and crime.  Our founding fathers were careful to construct this sentence in such a manner that there could be no other reasonable interpretation besides the obvious. Anybody with even the most limited understanding of the English language will agree.

Never understood those so against Gun ownership. What are you going to do when someone breaks into your home? Are you going to dial 911? I bet while you wait for the Police to show you're going to wish you had a gun in the first place. A gun evens out the playing field. And remember you are never going to get rid of all the guns in the world. Your anti gun laws are only going to ensure that the only ones with guns will be Criminals or your government. And do you really think your government has you best interest in hand? Remember "For the People by the People" is unfortunately just a phrase from the constitution. If the government was really for the People, than why are there lobbyists allowed to grease palms in Washington? Don't be stupid, keep your firearm safe and ready for use when the time comes. When your government asks to surrender your weapons just remember what happened Native Americans that listened. You think just because that was a long time ago that it cannot happen today? History repeats itself. Remember that. Don't be a fool to statistics, they say gun crime is almost non existent in the UK. Well no shit, that's because guns practically don't exist in the UK, that doesn't mean crime is non existent. Don't be gullible. Gun crime also didn't exist back in the 1600s, did that mean People lived with a sense of security? I personally like the idea of having a gun in my house, I hope I never need to use it against anyone, but having it gives me a sense of security knowing that no matter how big or small of a guy breaks through my door all it takes is a bullet to disable him. Think about that and let me know when your door is being kicked in, would you not wish you had a gun to protect yourself with.
