  • Tips for Ironing on Patch: Plug in iron. Crank it to highest setting. Place iron on top of your garment with a frying pan thermometer sandwiched between iron and garment to start the preheating process. Once temperature reaches 280 Degrees Fahrenheit unplug your iron. Temperature will continue to rise and then start to decline. Once it declines to 280 Degrees Fahrenheit, Slide the iron, place your patch and press the iron on top of your patch as hard as you can for 30 seconds without moving the iron around. Do not mess with the patch until it has completely cooled down. A household iron will not work as good as a heat press. Do not iron on patches to Leather or Nylon. Watch Video

  • Palms and Sunset Iron on Patch Description:

Are you into sunsets, palm trees, beaches, and all the sand and water you can handle? If so, the Palms and Sunset iron-on patch could be the perfect patch to add to your collection. As far as embroidered biker patches go, this one ranks right up there among the most tropical.

This particular patch has some fantastic colors. Its designer did yeoman's work in trying to capture a beach-side scene with the sun going down. If not for the mountains in the background, we could easily imagine the depicted scene being right here along the east coast of Florida. But the mountain suggests something more suited to the Caribbean or Polynesia.

At any rate, you are looking at a 3 x 3-inch patch in a semi-circle shape. Its thick, black border is perfect for hiding black thread when you sew it to a leather jacket or vest. We also recommend needle and thread when attaching to nylon or any other material that is heat sensitive. For cotton, denim, and other similar materials, you can take advantage of the iron-on glue on the back of the patch, applying it with a heat press or household iron.

We suspect wearing this patch on a favorite piece of clothing will invite plenty of discussion from people who like tropical scenes. If you have any plans to visit Daytona for the next bike week rally, get one and attach it to your vest or jacket. And if you're not a biker, so what? You must have a piece of clothing or a bag you can attach it to.

This is one of those embroidered patches that tends to get smiles from those who see it. So brighten up your day, and somebody else's as well, by proudly wearing it.
