The large howling wolf patch with the moon on the background that has 3 feathers hanging down from it. Measures 12x12 inches. A great Native American design that'll fill up a huge portion once it is sewn on the back of your leather riding vest. This is one of our earliest designs from our artist Arturo Vilmenay. He is a biker and very talented when it comes to drawing us beautiful artworks. You'll see a lot of knock off versions of this design all over the internet. We assure you that this is the real deal here. One can tell from the quality of the embroidery that it was digitized going off the actual handmade drawing rather than being duplicated off an embroidered version.
In the design we have a gray toned moon with yellow/brown mixture of colors used for 3 feathers that hang off the moon. The Wolf is in the foreground with his head up howling away. It is among our most popular designs that we have so many different versions of this patch.
So how is it made? Well it is embroidered over a Velvet black fabric in tones of gray and dirty yellowish brown. We then go around the design and embroider a quarter inch wide black border. The fabric then gets laid over a plastic sheet that is heat pressed on the back. Next it is taken over to the laser cutter that perfectly cuts out the patch leaving a very clean looking borders. Since it is a huge patch we recommend you sew it on your vest or jacket. But if you do have a heat press machine you can iron it on to denim shirts. Just don't go heat pressing the patch on any leather or nylon. You'll completely ruin that leather jacket if you apply 280 Degrees Fahrenheit of heat for 12 seconds. The patch will still stick, but your leather will scorch and that'll look terrible.
